Cascade Regional Blood Services is grateful for the community businesses and partners that believe in our mission and are committed to helping us achieve our goal; saving lives in our community hospitals.

Community Partners

Thank you to our ice cream-loving friends who provide gift cards and tokens to all of our donors on National Ice Cream Day.

Thank you to Bruce Titus and Bradken Foundry for housing our fleet of buses when not in use. Keeping our busses safe and secure is monumental to our success and we couldn’t conduct mobile drives without your generosity. Thank you.

Sponsorship Partners

Cascade Regional Blood Services has the privilege of working with many outstanding health organizations and are very proud to sponsor these extraordinary events. You can learn more about these community events below.

Cascade Regional Blood Services is tickled pink to be the official sponsor of the Pink Pancake Breakfast at MultiCare’s Come Walk With Me event in Sumner; Pierce County’s largest breast cancer walk. Join us and walk for the women and men in your life battling breast cancer. The 5k walk; slated for the first Saturday in October, starts at the Old Cannery and meanders throughout historic downtown Sumner.

We walk together to stand with those going through a diagnosis or treatment of breast cancer, to honor those who have fought breast cancer and won, and to remember those we lost too soon. 100% of funds raised for Come Walk With Me benefit breast health programs at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital.

The funds raised help the community:

  • Establish a free/reduced fee mammography program through Her Peace of Mind.
  • Resource kits for newly diagnosed patients
  • Post-surgical camisoles with built-in drainage, provided to patients at no cost
  • Wigs for patients in treatment
  • Prosthesis programs for under-insured
  • Presentations to various community groups on breast health
  • Lymphedema classes and support groups
  • Exercise and nutrition classes specifically for breast cancer patients

Join us for the biggest pinkest party in Pierce County. Have a pancake, on us, and visit our booth for your chance to win an awesome prize!

Fifteen years ago, Go Red For Women was born as a campaign to raise awareness among women about their great health threat – heart disease. Slowly, the campaign grew into a movement – one that not only brought together thousands of women annually but became the trusted, passionate, relevant force for change to eradicate heart disease and stroke all over the world. Go Red For Women provides a platform for women and their families to lead healthier lives, and drive collective action for community transformation. It’s not just about wearing red; it’s not just about sharing heart health facts. It’s about:

  • Providing women with opportunities to prioritize and take charge of their own health;
  • Building communities that support and provide access to healthy choices;
  • Demanding equal access to healthcare for all women and their families;
  • Increasing women in STEM in upcoming generations.

Cascade Regional Blood Services is honored to sponsor the Go Red For Women Tacoma Luncheon; which continues to serve as the cornerstone event of the Go Red For Women movement in local communities. This empowering event focuses on preventing heart disease and stroke by promoting healthy lifestyles, building awareness and raising critically-needed funds to support research and education initiatives. Cardiovascular diseases, which include stroke, claim the life of a woman about every 80 seconds.

Join us at and at this year’s Go Red For Women® luncheon. Visit our booth for a special gift from Cascade Regional Blood Services, bid on a little something for yourself at the silent auction, and get recharged and energized from the special speaker at the luncheon.
