The University of Puget Sound had an outstanding 2-day blood drive September 15 & 16! The LOGGERS exceeded their goal by registering 169 blood donors; 76 were first time donors! Special thanks to Jacki Pearce-Droge, Director of the Community Involvement & Action Center at UPS, our new blood drive coordinator, Kathryn Flyte and our Humanities Sponsor, Alea Robertson. School blood drives provide approximately 20% of the blood supply for our community hospitals. Thank you to all the LOGGERS who took the time to donate!
The University of Puget Sound (UPS) campus housing and student groups sponsor four two-day blood drives each school year. UPS has been hosting drives for years and provides great support for our community’s blood supply. Thank you to all of our UPS blood drive coordinators, administration, staff and hundreds of generous blood donors.
