Recognition: School Drive Partners

Stadium High School – October 13, 2009

On Tuesday, October 13, Stadium High School held their annual blood drive and it was a huge success! At this drive, 114 students were registered and 83 were first-time donors!

Cascade Regional Blood Services (CRBS) would like to thank the students of ASB for all of their hard work. They assisted in the refreshment center and signed students in and out of class during the blood drive. We would also like to thank Haley Bridge, teacher and ASB advisor, for her leadership and dedication to the blood drive program.

CRBS congratulates the Stadium High School football team, who won their first ever homecoming football game this year. CRBS also wishes the best of luck to the Girl’s Swim team, and Boys and Girls Track teams, who are all competing in state tournaments.

CRBS would like to thank all the students and staff of Stadium High School for their support. Blood drives at Stadium High School help CRBS maintain an adequate blood supply to Tacoma General Hospital, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center and the rest of our community hospitals. We are very much looking forward to the next blood drive at Stadium High School.

Stadium High School-November 21, 2008

On November 21, Stadium High School (SHS) held their first blood drive of the new school year. The results were fantastic and a new record was set at SHS. The ASB was the blood drive sponsor, and they did a fantastic job of promoting the blood drive. They signed up students to donate, worked in the canteen, and passed out t-shirts. Our blood drive coordinator was Rebecca Rivero, and she did a fantastic job of organizing and signing up her fellow classmates.

Blood drive coordinator Rebecca Rivero and the ASB group worked hard to make this such a very large blood drive. The hard work and determination showed as 150 students were registered! The students of Stadium High School had a friendly blood drive competition with other Tacoma high school students, which helped spark a tremendous amount of enthusiasm for the students.

The Stadium Tigers have had a very successful athletic season thus far. Girls athletics, including volleyball, swimming, and soccer did extremely well this year. The boys’ and girls’ cross county team also had great results to their seasons.

Cascade Regional Blood Services would like to thank the students and staff of Stadium High School. Their commitment to blood drives and the support we receive has made a huge difference in our community as they help us maintain an adequate blood supply to all of our community hospitals. The contributions during the holiday seasons are especially important as donors become busier than normal and our job becomes even more challenging.

Stadium High School – April 27, 2007

The drive on April 27 at Stadium High School was extremely successful. On a goal of 85, we had 93 donors turn out to help support the community’s blood supply. Principal Jonathan Kellet has been a strong supporter of blood drives for many years. Cascade Regional Blood Services would like to thank the students and faculty of Stadium High School for their continued support.

The generosity of the students and faculty has helped maintain a safe blood supply for our community hospitals. The hard work of the students and faculty is greatly appreciated. Stadium High School also recently finished remodeling, and it looks great!
