2011–12 School Year

Fife High School

On Thursday, December 1, 2011, Fife High School kicked off its Season of Giving with its annual blood drive. This drive was another huge success, as the drives have been for many years!  At this drive, 114 donors were registered and 89 were first time donors! ASB president Scott Campbell did a great job organizing the volunteers and donors. The group worked together recruiting donors, helping to escort donors to and from class, refreshment helpers, and as part of the set-up and clean-up crew. Special thanks to ASB Advisor Sue Grab for her leadership and dedication to the blood drive program. We also greatly appreciate the support for CRBS that comes from Principal Mark Knight, FHS’ administration, staff, students and community. THANK YOU FIFE HIGH SCHOOL!!

2010–11 blood drive results:

  • Registered donors 119
  • First-time donors 97

Congratulations and a BIG THANK YOU to Fife High School ASB, staff, students and community members for an outstanding Cascade Regional Blood Services blood drive on Dec. 2, 2010.  A total of 119 donors registered with 97 new donors. ASB president Joslyn Vankat did a great job organizing her volunteers and donors. The group worked together as runners, refreshment helpers, and as part of the set-up and clean-up crew. The support for CRBS, St Francis, and our other area hospitals by all those at FHS is greatly appreciated.

ASB Advisor Sue Grab talked about another project the FHS ASB is working on called Winter Wishes. The ASB group grants wishes for other classmates and relies on contributions from students and the community. It may be as simple as a gift for a mom, a coat for a sibling or a gift of a school sweatshirt to show school spirit. Donations are being accepted to help with Winter Wishes and anyone interested in helping may call the school directly. Thank you again for your support and your spirit of giving.
