Recognition: School Drive Partners

Emerald Ridge High School’s (ER) Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club sponsors two outstanding blood drives each school year. Thank you to Jody Wickett, our blood drive coordinator, for providing the support needed to make ER’s blood drive program such a huge success. Thanks also to the ER’s HOSA students, the administration, staff and all their generous blood donors who help CRBS provide the needed blood products for Good Samaritan and our other area hospitals.

2011–12 School Year

Outstanding blood drive at EMERALD RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL on November 3! The blood drive sponsoring group, HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) registered 124 enthusiastic donors;84 were first time donors to CRBS and our community! A BIG SHOUTOUT to the HOSAVolunteers for doing a great job on sign-up’s and working together for a successful drive!!

Special thanks to Jody Wickett, HOSA Advisor and blood drive coordinator, and a BIG THANK YOU to ER’s administration, staff and to all the JAG’s who took the time to donate! Their contributions to CRBS directly support Good Samaritan and our other community hospitals.

Thank you Emerald Ridge High School blood donors, administration, staff and our blood drive sponsoring group, Anatomy & Physiology and Sports Medicine Classes.  The JAGS registered 104 donors; 71 were first-time donors! Special thanks to Jody Wickett, A&P/Sports Med teacher, and all of the A&P/Sports Med student volunteers, especially Spencer Norawong. He is a leader among his peers and did an outstanding job coordinating the volunteers and working with the donors. Thank you to ERHS’s PE Department who generously share their gym for the blood drives twice each year. We appreciate their enthusiastic support and the support of the entire staff that helps make the ERHS drives successful!  WAY TO GO JAGS!!
