Recognition: School Drive Partners

Clover Park Technical College-South Hill Campus-October 31, 2008

On Halloween, Clover Park Technical College-South Hill Campus held its first ever blood drive and there were eight students who participated. Although it was a smaller drive, the idea of sponsoring blood drives was extremely well received by the students and faculty.

Coordinating this event was Claire Korschinowski, Student Center Coordinator, Brandi Carter, South Hill Campus Coordinator, and Grace Winner, a student at Clover Park Technical College. Brandi and Grace did a great job of promoting the drive. They put together a Halloween Bash, complete with a DJ, refreshments, and a pumpkin carving contest. They also went class to class asking students and faculty to sign up for the blood drive.

Cascade Regional Blood Services would like to thank Clover Park Technical College-South Hill Campus for partnering with us to hold this blood drive. Their support and enthusiasm helps make what we do more fun and also helps us maintain an adequate blood supply to Good Samaritan as well as our other community hospitals.hat contribute about 25% of the blood supply for our community.
