Cascade Christian always has a great turn out, and their project team does a great job preparing for the drive and keeping things running smoothly on the day of the drive. On Thursday, April 30, Cascade Christian School had their largest ever blood drive! At this drive, 61 donors were registered and 41 were first-timers. Congratulations to the sponsor group, ASB, for doing a fantastic job of getting sign-ups prior to the blood drive date. Cascade Regional Blood Services (CRBS) would also like to thank the Principal, Frank Washburn, and our coordinator, Mandy Curry. They did a wonderful job of organizing and setting a strong example for the students. Their great leadership is a big reason why this blood drive was the largest in Cascade Christian School history.
CRBS congratulates the Girls’ tennis and golf teams who recently earned the title of Academic State Champions in the 1A division, an award also earned by the Cougar Wrestlers earlier this year. The award acknowledges "the accomplishments of a team of talented students led by a dedicated coaching staff." Cougar Cheer and Volleyball placed second for the '08-'09 school year.
CRBS would like to thank all of the students and staff of Cascade Christian School. Their support and commitment to blood drives helps CRBS maintain an adequate blood supply for Good Samaritan Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, and the rest of our community hospitals. We are very much looking forward to continuing our partnership with the Cascade Christian School.
