Congratulations to our 10th iDonate iPod winner, Deanna!

Deanna donated for the first time in January and has been consistently donating at our Puyallup Donor Center ever since. She has already donated four times and is halfway to her first gallon award! Special thanks to Joanne and John Meadows, Deanna’s friends and long-time blood donors, for encouraging her to start donating.
Deanna was born and raised in Enumclaw. She “crossed the river” and now lives in Buckley and works in the White River School District Food Services Department. Her daughter is starting her first year at Pierce College, and her son is a sophomore in the White River Schools.

Thank you Deanna for making the decision to donate blood and for your commitment to being a consistent donor!

Congratulations to Pat, our 9th iDonate iPod winner!

Pat, a contractor, was raised and currently resides in Lakewood. He began donating with Cascade Regional Blood Services in 1997 has been a frequent donor since.  Pat recently surpassed the five gallon milestone, which equals 40 individual donations!  He usually donates only on Thursdays; however, when he noticed the flyers for our summer iDonate promotion, he made a special trip and donated this past Monday. Pat enjoys golfing and camping with friends and family. He said he looks forward to using the iPod when he goes for walks.

Thank you Pat for supporting your community blood center as a committed blood donor, especially during these summer months when it becomes more challenging to maintain adequate inventory levels.

Congratulations Cara!

Congratulations to our 8th iDonate iPod winner, Cara!  Cara has been a long-time blood donor, regularly donating at her workplace.  She currently works from home as a Medical Records Coder for MultiCare Health Systems. Cara now comes to our CRBS Tacoma Donor Center to donate, which worked out very well for her this summer.

Cara has two grown daughters who were extremely excited to hear that their mom had won an iPod during the summer iDonate promotion. In her free time, Cara is active in fitness classes, walking, and she tries to spend as much time as she can on the water in her kayak.

Thank you Cara for supporting CRBS and the community blood supply!

Congratulations Alyssa!

Alyssa is our seventh iDonate winner for the 2011 summer promotion. Alyssa lives in Federal Way where she is a senior at Todd Beamer High School. She began donating two years ago at her high school blood drives and has continued to donate during the summers at our Federal Way Donor Center. Alyssa enjoys wake boarding, having time with her friends and soaking up the sunshine on her family’s boat. Alyssa will be taking a road trip to Montana with her best friend Audrey, the lucky recipient of Alyssa’s old iPod now that she has a brand new one!

Thank you Alyssa for being such a great donor!

Congratulations Don!

Don is our sixth iDonate winner for the 2011 summer promotion.
Don is a physics teacher at Stadium High School, and he also coaches baseball. His favorite baseball teams are the Boston Red Sox and the Mariners. Don grew up traveling the world as a military brat. After all that moving around, he enjoys spending time settled at his home in Tacoma. He is looking forward to relaxing on an upcoming fishing trip to Neah Bay on the Olympic Peninsula.

Thank you Don for supporting your community blood center as a committed blood donor!

Congratulations Nick!

Nick is our fifth CRBS iDonate promotion winner! Born and raised in the heart of Tacoma, Nick has become a longtime donor with CRBS and has donated nearly 18 gallons. After taking a short break from donating, his daughter brought him back to start again in 2010. Nick and his family live in Puyallup, where he enjoys his free time after retiring from the banking industry in April. He also enjoys traveling and is looking forward to his family’s vacation to Crater Lake in Southern Oregon this summer.

Thank you Nick for your years of support!

Congratulations Lindsey!

Lindsey is the fourth CRBS iDonate promotion winner. Lindsey was born and raised in Puyallup, WA. She began donating at her high school, Emerald Ridge High School, where she will be a junior this fall.  Lindsey is excited about her family’s annual summer camping trip to Fort Flagler on the coast in Western Washington. Lindsey won her new iPod Touch just in time for the long road trip!

Thank you Lindsey for being a donor!

Congratulations Nina!

Nina is our third iDonate winner and a Tacoma native! She attended high school in the heart of Tacoma at Stadium High School. Inspired to become a blood donor by her mother, a nurse, Nina began donating in 2008 at school blood drives. After high school, Nina became a regular donor at Pierce College and often visits our Tacoma Donor Center. Nina is a lifeguard lead at Wild Waves, loves baseball, and has been in ballet since she was two. She is excited to finish her last year at Pierce and move to California, New York or Florida where she plans to complete her schooling and obtain her degree in Psychology.

Good luck Nina and thank you for being a donor!

Congratulations Debbie!

Debbie is our second iDonate winner for the 2011 summer promotion. She is a busy mother of three young adults and has been donating off-and-on over the past 30 years. After taking a break from donating, she was encouraged to donate by a student at Tacoma School of the Arts’ annual blood drive. Debbie enjoys camping, outdoor activities and spending time with her family.

Thank you Debbie for your years of support!

Congratulations Vanessa!
