Cascade Regional Blood Services congratulates The Boeing Company on receiving the March 2013 Blood Drive of the Month award! Boeing sponsors regular, successful blood drives for CRBS at its Fredrickson and Auburn locations—CRBS is very grateful for the company’s support!
The Auburn location has conducted blood drives with CRBS for several decades and has sponsored regular drives, in their current format, every other month since 1997. During that period of time, they have registered more than 2,500 donors at those drives. The Frederickson location conducts blood drives at two buildings, which compete with each other for largest number of blood donors. Since 1997, these drives have registered 2,993 donors. Many thanks to Karen Talbot and Crystal Parsons, who coordinate blood drives for the Auburn and Frederickson sites, respectively. Their enthusiasm and hard work have consistently spelled success for Boeing’s blood drives.
A big thank you for all of the support from The Boeing Company employees. CRBS is deeply grateful for the partnership with the company and the devotion of all those who take the time to organize and promote the program. And special thanks to the hundreds of committed Boeing donors.
Donations at community drives like these help ensure a safe, constant supply of blood to the Franciscan Health System and MultiCare Health System hospitals and clinics that CRBS serves in Pierce and South King Counties.
Debbie Gage, Rainier School blood drive coordinator accepts CRBS' Febraury 2013 Blood Drive of the Month award.
CRBS presented its February 2013 Blood Drive of the Month award to Rainier School in Buckley. Rainier School’s February drive registered 28 donors, nearly doubling its goal of 15.
Debbie Gage, who has coordinated blood drives for CRBS since 1997, has a personal connection to blood donation. Her only daughter required a blood transfusion which saved her life. This experience reinforced for Debbie the importance of blood drives and blood donation. Since she began coordinating Rainier School blood drives, more than 1,800 donors have registered at the drive.
We greatly appreciate Debbie’s efforts and all the blood donors at Rainier School. Community blood drives like this one help CRBS to maintain a constant supply of blood to the hospitals we serve in Pierce and South King Counties, including MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.
Jennifer West and David Quantrell accept CRBS' January 2013 Blood Drive of hte Month award.
Congratulations to Champions Centre, CRBS 2013 January Blood Drive on the Month! The church’s January 2013 blood drive registered 23 donors to help support our community hospitals and clinics.
Champions Foundation began sponsoring blood drives bi-annually in 2011. With the help of Sue Kahawaii and Jennifer West as blood drive coordinators, the foundation now holds blood drives every 56 days. In 2011, 82 blood donors registered at Champions Centre drives. In 2012, 132 registered to donate blood at the church.
CRBS appreciates the support of our fantastic community blood drive sponsors like Champions Foundation. It is only because of them that we are able to carry out our mission to provide a constant, safe supply of blood to the MultiCare Health System and Franciscan Health System hospitals and clinics we serve in Pierce and South King Counties.
