Lakes High School - May 8, 2008

Lakes High School had another great drive on May 8. On a goal of 80, there were 97 donors registered. The Family Career Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) was the sponsor of this drive. They did a fantastic job of recruiting students at the school. They also helped in the canteen and gave out t-shirts and bananas! Cascade Regional Blood Services would like to thank the students and advisors of FCCLA for their hard work and dedication.

Blood drives at Lakes High School have been very successful. Over the last few years, they have increased the number of volunteers who help out at the drives. As a result, Lakes High School holds two drives per year and they are always successful.

Lakes High School is an extremely well-rounded school. They have championship caliber teams in Football and Basketball as well as one student who received the Wave Scholarship. Congratulations to Lakes High School for all their success!

Cascade Regional Blood Services is looking forward to another great year at Lakes during 2008-09. We appreciate the great support they continue to provide for CRBS. That support enables us to be able to provide the blood products needed at our community hospitals.
