Eatonville High School - December 7, 2007

The drive at Eatonville High School was amazing. On a goal of 65, we had 91 people register to donate blood! Cascade Regional Blood Services would like to thank the students and staff for the great results. Instrumental to the success of this drive was drive coordinator Tira Hancock and the sponsor group, Honor Roll/ASB.

At the time of the drive, the high school was being renovated and classes were held in portables at Eatonville Middle School. In the past, blood drives were held in the school gym; however due to the construction, blood mobiles were used at this drive. Even with all of the construction, we exceeded our goal by 26! This accomplishment is a testament to the hard work and dedication of students and staff of Eatonville High School.

EHS conducts two blood drives a year. The first drive is held in December, a time of critical need for our area hospitals. The second drive is in March, just before WASL testing. EHS students always conduct their own sign-ups, without the assistance of a CRBS drive consultant. Students go classroom to classroom and pass sign-up sheets around the room. Clearly they are successful!
