On October 23, Bonney Lake High School held a fantastic blood drive. On this day, 107 donors were registered, and 60 were first-timers. It is also the biggest blood drive to date for Bonney Lake High School! Instrumental to the success of this drive was coordinator Tricia Littlefield, Teacher and FCCLA advisor. The school sponsor of the drive was the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Cascade Regional Blood Services would like to thank them for their support and proven leadership skills.
CRBS staff worked with the FCCLA to conduct sign-ups two weeks prior to the blood drive. On the day of the drive, FCCLA members set up a check-in and check-out policy, which ensured a very smooth flow of donors.
Blood drive coordinator, Tricia Littlefield, has worked extremely hard to get the blood drive program off the ground at Bonney Lake High School. CRBS is extremely grateful for her support and dedication. The success at Bonney Lake High School would not be possible without her hard work. We are looking forward to our next blood drive at Bonney Lake High School, home of the Panthers.
On May 1, 2008, Bonney Lake High School held a very successful blood drive. At this drive, 105 donors were registered. This is an amazing accomplishment and Cascade Regional Blood Services would like to thank the students and staff for making this such a great drive.
The students of FCCLA did a great job of coordinating this drive. The Freshman FCCLA members conducted sign-ups two weeks prior to the drive. There was also a strict check-in/check-out policy and an FCCLA member was assigned to oversee this project. At every level, the students did a great job of managing this blood drive.
The support of Bonney Lake High School is extremely important to our community hospitals. Their generosity helped save many lives. Cascade Regional Blood Services is looking forward to working with Bonney Lake High School again.
The recent drive at Bonney Lake High School was again coordinated by the Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). The CRBS Drive Consultant, Megan Johnson, reported that the group was extremely well organized under their staff advisor and dedicated drive coordinator, Tricia Littlefield. Tricia coordinated drives at Sumner High School before moving to Bonney Lake when the new school opened.
Mr. Q was also extremely helpful, as usual, encouraging students to help support our community blood supply by donating during the drive. The units collected by CRBS directly support patients at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, and other area hospitals.
There were 87 donors registered for this recent drive. The first drive was sponsored shortly after their new school opened in October 2005. The drives have increased and this one was the largest drive in school history.
